TECHNIQUES USED

Grafton technique: Uses instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization to break up scar tissue to promote blood flow to help heal at the site of injury.

Dry Needling: Uses a different approach than acupuncture as we target specific muscles that are tight, promoting blood flow to muscle spasms or tight muscle fibers.  Dry needling gets to muscles that can't be reached through massage, heat or other modalities. Most patients can be treated utilizing this technique in conjunction with therapeutic bodywork therapy.

Myofascial Release: Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.

Taping: Kinesiotape tape (KT-tape) or McConnell tape can be used to help facilitate or inhibit muscles to aide with blood flow or postural alignment.

Joint Mobilization: Joint mobs in conjunction with soft tissue help restore range of motion in all joints such as cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum, hip, knee, and the foot.

Trigger Point Release:  Trigger points can mimic pain patterns such as sciatica. Addressing latent and active Trigger Points can help with chronic pain symptoms.

Lymphatic Drainage:  The lymph system accounts for 10 percent of drainage. Utilizing a specific protocol we can decrease the swelling and remove toxins from the body.
